Congratulations to William Drost, formally the General Manager for Tiger Brazil, for his new role as Tiger Offshore’s General Manager effective January 1, 2017. Over 10 years ago, William started with Tiger by partnering with the Crenshaw’s to do a Brazilian cold start JV company along with Grupo Rentank. William was responsible for the investment of capital and equipment followed by getting a return on the assets. He also managed all legal matters, the importation/exportation of rental equipment – sourcing globally and negotiating contracts with multinational clientele.
Along with his family, William live in Brazil before the joint venture but recently moved to Houston, Texas, USA. He is fluent in Portuguese, and has an in-depth understanding in managing, executing, and delivering results in Brazil’s challenging business environment.
William is also credited for helping Tiger get started in Africa and the Middle East.
We are looking forward to a great future with William at the helm. He will take the lead at Tiger Offshore to free Colby up in overseeing the entire Tiger Rentals organization.
