The Canary Islands, also known informally as the Canaries, are an island chain in the Atlantic Ocean and the southernmost community of Spain. They are located in the northwest of Africa, with the closest point to the continent being 62 miles away.

In 2019, Tiger’s Africa & Mediterranean team opened a facility in Puerto de las Palmas, Gran Canaria, Canary Islands, Spain to service drilling rigs in the coastal region.
