Tiger Industrial has expanded its Power Generation portfolio to include 400 kW Natural Gas Generators. These gensets are designed to operate using well gas, a by-product produced alongside oil in existing wells.

Since it is not always economically viable to capture and sell this gas, it is often flared as waste. Now, rather than being flared, this well gas is redirected to Tigers’ natural gas generators, significantly reducing flare gas emissions and minimizing diesel fuel costs. This gas powers the Central Tank Battery and Electric Submersible Pumps that assist in lifting oil from the well.

These remote sites typically require over 1500 horsepower of electric power. Tiger’s generators are paralleled through a special panel to share the load evenly and provide reliable, scalable energy. Given the remote locations and the limitations of grid infrastructure, portable power generation is often the only cost-effective solution for continued well production.
