Career

With over 30 years’ experience and a strong background in QHSE and Operations Management, Gentry serves as the Corporate QHSE Manager for Tiger Rentals based in Houston, TX.  He has held the QHSE leadership role at Tiger Rentals for over 8 years crafting, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive safety and environmental management systems across all divisions.

Having literally “grown up” in the Oil & Gas business, starting as a machinist in his grandfather’s South Louisiana compressor valve shop while in high school, Gentry has a long history of knowing how the oilfield business works and how to effectively run a safe operation while being profitable.  Gentry eventually earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette – Engineering/Industrial Technology, providing a solid foundation in the technical and strategic aspects of safety and operational excellence.

Committed to a proactive and principle-led approach, the Tiger QHSE Team emphasizes measurable outcomes by reducing incidents, enhancing regulatory alignment, and instilling a culture of safety-first accountability throughout the organization.

Through its QHSE excellence, Tiger Rentals continues to build trust with clients by maintaining stringent safety standards, highly effective field operations, unified QHSE protocols and reduced risk.
