Tiger entered Rotterdam market to provide cargo carrying units (CCU) to the North Sea region.

2022 – HURRICANE IDA PACKED A PUNCH! Hurricane Ida made landfall as Category 4 hurricane in Lafourche Parish near Port Fourchon, Louisiana, with maximum sustained wind speeds of 150 mph (241 kph) and a minimum air pressure of 930 millibars. Landfall occurred at 11:55 a.m. on August 29, 2021. The Tiger Offshore Rentals’ Port Fourchon, Louisiana facility was severely impacted with flooding, roof damages, destroyed housing and offices, as well as equipment turned over and scattered across the yards. The affected areas suffered loss of electricity, plumbing, water, fuel and the basic essentials needed to run a business for several weeks. Despite these challenges, our teams were able to mobilize quickly and get operations up and running within days. Tiger Industrial provided generators, light towers and a 12’ x 40’ blast resistant building used for a temporary office. Fuel was brought in to help our Tiger family/team with transportation requirements. Tiger Offshore brought in temporary buildings with plumbing and air conditioning for housing team members and third-party contractors. Our employees’ homes and families were harshly impacted by the storm as well, but despite their own personal trials, they showed up to make it happen. In less than a week, the Port opened for business, and we were one of the first service companies up and running with PMI cleaning vessels and Tiger Offshore delivering equipment to customers. We still have a lot of work to do, but the team is working hard to come back better and stronger than before Hurricane Ida moved inland. 2022 GRAND OPENING Almost 7 months after making landfall, the Tiger Offshore Fourchon location held its re-grand opening. Team members from throughout the south joined the Fourchon yard on March 24th to celebrate the momentous event. The event was held from 11-2 and over 750 lbs of crawfish were served. Customers, co-workers, the Port Commission, and even the local police force came by to eat and tour the new facility. Jordan Hickox, Branch Manager, was on the ground with team members 18 hours after the storm and hasn’t really slowed down since to get the yard back fully operational. The yard now features a 3-room open area office building, a break room for the yard team, new living quarters for the 24/7 delivery drivers, and a large outdoor patio for cooking and breaks.

Tiger Offshore East Med is making history by providing rental equipment and services for the first ever drilling campaign of the coast of Lebanon. The Country is 125 miles off the coast of Cyprus where our Cyprus facility is strategically placed to service the region. Many units had to be pulled from various locations within the region to support this project. We secured a fleet of Containers, Baskets and Cuttings Boxes totaling over 200+ units for this campaign. Many rounds of tough negotiation took place in order to make it happen. Karl, Marco and their team did a fantastic job preparing the units and getting them RENT READY.

The Tiger Offshore Mozambique team secured a contract in South Africa and has begun to move assets for offshore activity in the region.

Tiger is developing an “Operations Board” office dubbed as the admin “Fire House” that will be used to track all assets in our fleet. The Operations Board will tell you where Tiger’s equipment is located, what needs to be serviced (oil change, cert update, etc.), what is down and needs immediate action (call outs), what is on your dispatch board, what assets you have in yard by location and serial numbers, where your service trucks are, mechanics moving around in real time, what speed they are traveling, and more. Employees will have access to the system from their computer or mobile device enabling them to manage the app from anywhere, anytime in real time on one page. Personnel can check inventory in minutes to provide quotes much more quickly and efficiently. No more, “……let me check and I’ll call you right back.” That used to be a hand-off to our competitors but now we will be able to check on availability in minutes. Obviously the benefits are endless but the take away is that we will be able to significantly grow our business with the same amount of people we currently have through real time data and efficiencies. BTW, we can already do all these functions, they are in different apps, programs, screens, etc. and everyone is doing it a different way. This puts it all together on one source and it is in real time. More to come…just giving everyone the 10K foot view. It is in the works but it will take some time.

The Port of Corpus Christi is getting ready to take on a new influx of Permian crude oil with the high-capacity crude pipeline projects underway. Additionally, the Corpus Christi Stage 3 Project is started and expected to produce approximately 10 million tonnes per annum of LNG. A fractionation unit that will produce fuel gas as well as stabilized naphtha and ultra-low-sulfur diesel for the Eagle Ford, Wolfcamp, Permian Basin and Gulf of Mexico shale plays is progressing with construction as well. If that isn’t enough, a joint venture is starting construction on a $10B ethane cracker plant in Corpus. These developments could lead to big opportunities for Tiger. With all of this exciting news in the works, Tiger Industrial Rentals is making aggressive moves to secure a contract for 4 acres in Corpus Christi, Texas. The new facility will fall under Wayne LeJune’s (South Texas Manager) division. The Corpus Christi sales team will be pivotal in helping to get the new facility up and running with a ready line stocked full of pumps, mats, blast resistant buildings, generators, light towers and more. “We are excited to move forward in securing a contract for land in Corpus Christi to fully dedicate our services to existing clients and those that are moving into the region. Tiger is pleased to announce that the Tiger Rentals Mozambique team secured a significant contract for a KCI mud plant for potassium chloride mixing, and all associated equipment to support drilling activity in East Africa. Tiger’s liquid mud plant (LMP) will prepare, store, and supply water-based drilling fluids containing KCl, used primarily to stabilize sensitive shale and clay formations.  The contract is in partnership with a Mozambique-based subsidiary of a local petroleum organization that operates onshore gas fields and a central processing facility. Tiger Offshore Middle East (TOME) has been adding equipment to its fleet, including 12 Coast Guard tanks that were purchased from Tiger UAE. In early June, TOME received the anticipated purchase order for the rental of these tanks to assist the drilling and production efforts in Bahrain. We are also expecting to rent many 500 BBL fluid tanks to be used in the campaign there. Tiger Middle East has acquired over two hundred 500 BBL fluid (frac-style) tanks from Dragon’s used equipment and the Tiger KSA team has adapted them to the specific needs of the Saudi market. TOME has had great success in both selling, as well as, renting these tanks, due in large part to the industry’s recognition that Dragon’s used products are often preferred above newly fabricated equipment from competitors.

The Canary Islands, also known informally as the Canaries, are an island chain in the Atlantic Ocean and the southernmost community of Spain. They are located in the northwest of Africa, with the closest point to the continent being 62 miles away. In 2019, Tiger’s Africa & Mediterranean team opened a facility in Puerto de las Palmas, Gran Canaria, Canary Islands, Spain to service drilling rigs in the coastal region.

St. John’s, Canada – Tiger Offshore Rentals (“Tiger”) is pleased to announce a new addition to our Canadian Team. Paul Carter has joined Tiger as the Eastern Canada Manager. He brings over 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry to this new role. Mr. Carter’s most recent work history was as Warehouse Manager for Blue Water Group. In this role, he executed warehouse and inventory management of ExxonMobil equipment for the Hibernia and Hebron drilling and production platforms. Prior to that, Mr. Carter spent 12 years working in logistics management with A. Harvey Marine Base in St. John’s, Canada. It is through the port of St. John’s and primarily the marine base that the oil industry in Eastern Canada is supplied. There he coordinated the daily workflow of unionized labour, equipment, vessels, containers, cargo and other resources in a safe and efficient manner. Tiger has facilities in St. John’s and Halifax with a diverse fleet of equipment including over 100 DNV certified offshore cargo carrying equipment, long baskets, drum racks, fluid transport tanks, ECOmats and more. In his new role, Mr. Carter will take the lead at these locations with all sales and operations. Tiger secured its first Offshore Wind project for the US East Coast, to support seabed coring, in advance of the next offshore wind farm installation. Our client rented tanks and spill berms in Fourchon for the project. As Wind Energy project grow, Tiger continues to find new markets for equipment and diversify revenue streams.

Tiger entered the Southeast Asia market where we performed our first tank cleaning job. Tiger’s newest international branch is based in Sattahip, Thailand. Tiger landed the first job to clean PSV tanks, on vessel serving a major international operator, drilling in the Gulf of Thailand. Tiger will quickly ramp up this new branch to offer a wide range of services.

West Africa is a region with lots of activity, but it has not been a busy region for Tiger in the past. That is changing. On January 31, 2018, and within the past few months, Tiger mobilized two large Cargo Carrying Unit (CCU) fleets for major international oil companies from Equatorial Guinea, in the middle of the continent, to Mauritania in the north. Tiger has been boots on the ground, servicing our fleet in Mauritania. Our business development team has been in and out of several West African countries closing deals for Tiger. Other countries in this region represent significant opportunities to the company so stay tuned for what’s next!

Just when we thought the worst was over after Harvey, Irma was waiting to follow close behind, reaching the top of the scale as it hit land with category five force. Hurricane Irma laid waste multiple Caribbean Islands before pummeling Florida. It was then that Tiger secured a huge contract with a major client to supply a large number of generators and rental equipment to power a major communications company in the State. Tiger moved swiftly, with all hands on-deck, to acquire rental equipment to fulfil the immense order. Everyone from sales to admins stormed the rental industry to obtain the generators needed to fulfill the order. Hurricane Irma severely weakened Puerto Rico’s infrastructure when Hurricane Maria hit the island with Cat 5 force. The disasters seemed to pile atop one another when Tiger rushed to secure another order to supply housing, power generation, fuel and more for the island. Working with the emergency response team, Tiger devised a plan to convert a supply vessel into a “Mobile Base Camp”. The supply vessel served a dual purpose for temporary housing and to ship consolidated equipment to San Juan. Tiger recently implemented their own version of a Lean Process known as “6S”, in most circles of industry and manufacturing, that is a systematic approach to workplace organization. Tiger has taken it a step further by adding a crucial element of “SAFETY” to the program. This is now known at Tiger as the, “Geaux Tiger 6S Program.” The six steps/pillars of Geaux Tiger 6S are: 1. Sort 2. Set in Order 3. Shine 4. Standardize 5. Sustain 6. Safety The program was rolled out in the first of this year. The plan is designed to help reduce clutter in the workplace, place things in designated areas, promote good housekeeping, standardize our way of daily work routines, build a plan to sustain what we have set in place, and most importantly work and keep our areas and people SAFE! Geaux Tiger is about efficiency, competitiveness, and survival. It is a deceptively simple system that creates an organized and productive workplace. It’s not just about cleaning up and eliminating unneeded items. Geaux Tiger creates a workplace environment that can adapt and succeed. Congratulations to William Drost, formally the General Manager for Tiger Brazil, for his new role as Tiger Offshore’s General Manager effective January 1, 2017. Over 10 years ago, William started with Tiger by partnering with the Crenshaw’s to do a Brazilian cold start JV company along with Grupo Rentank. William was responsible for the investment of capital and equipment followed by getting a return on the assets. He also managed all legal matters, the importation/exportation of rental equipment – sourcing globally and negotiating contracts with multinational clientele.  Along with his family, William live in Brazil before the joint venture but recently moved to Houston, Texas, USA. He is fluent in Portuguese, and has an in-depth understanding in managing, executing, and delivering results in Brazil’s challenging business environment. William is also credited for helping Tiger get started in Africa and the Middle East. We are looking forward to a great future with William at the helm. He will take the lead at Tiger Offshore to free Colby up in overseeing the entire Tiger Rentals organization.

Tiger Offshore Rentals East Med Ltd, a subsidiary of Tiger Offshore based in Cyprus, became a registered member of the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA), the authoritative body for companies in the heavy lifting industry worldwide. Tiger’s East Med staff will undergo rigorous LEEA training to better serve our customers in the Mediterranean, European and Middle East regions.

Tiger setup a new yard in Temane located in the Southern Mozambique region and began renting and working on a large two-year onshore drilling campaign. Tiger also expanded into Kenya with a yard in the port city of Mombasa Kenya to support onshore drilling operations in Kenya, Uganda, and Ethiopia. Additionally, we rented over 100 units in Tanzania Q4 2016.

Congratulations to Kelsey Dean for heading up our Mexico division. Tiger entered into a partnership with Oilmex/Cleanmex establishing our Mexico division and we anticipate a large uptick in business very soon.

By the end of 2016, Tiger finalized an acquisition of the remaining shares, held by our previous agent in the Middle East, and Tiger Offshore Middle East will be a wholly owned subsidiary of the parent company in Beaumont. Our operations have settled into a new location and our new agent for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is in place. We have been invited to bid on some nice size projects that will be coming out soon. Mr. Enyer Mata has been a driving force in the re-acquisition of new business in the region and the prospects for growth next year are very good.

RAVENNA, Italy — Tiger Offshore Rentals (“Tiger”), a leading global provider of transportation and storage equipment to the offshore oil and gas industry, has acquired Comea Impianti Industriali’s (“Comea”) entire fleet of DNV certified offshore cargo carrying units (CCUs) in Italy. The acquisition expands Tiger’s position as the leading provider of offshore rentals in the Mediterranean, North Africa, and Southern European regions.  “Comea’s substantial inventory of DNV long cargo baskets, containers and special carriers is a welcome addition to our rental fleet in the Mediterranean,” says David McCormack, Tiger Offshore Rental’s manager of international business development. “This acquisition will allow Tiger’s customers to source DNV offshore equipment locally in Italy before deploying for operations in the Mediterranean, North Africa and South European regions. This new fleet puts Tiger in the driver’s seat when it comes to providing DNV certified CCU’s, tanks and skips to the development of Mediterranean offshore plays.” In conjunction with the acquisition, Tiger and Comea entered into a partnership agreement with that allows Comea to rerent Tiger’s full line of DNV certified CCUs, offshore baskets, containers, skips, cuttings boxes, tanks and carriers to its customers. Tiger entered the Senegal oil & gas market on March 31, 2016. In 2020, the Tiger Offshore East Mediterranean & Africa division opened shop in Dakar, Senegal off the North Atlantic Ocean coast to service clients in the country once again. The transition to floating production storage and off-loading (FPSO) has driven strong demand for CCUs in the country so we remain well-positioned to capture this growing market with our presence in the region. In 2024, we completed a strategic move of our yard to a more central location to better serve our clients in the region.

Tiger Tanks Trinidad Unlimited completed the ISO-9001 Certification earlier in the year and was awarded the Certification on September 28, 2016 for ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 9001:2015.

Tiger Rentals East Mediterranean moved equipment to Agadir, Morocco to service oil and gas drilling rigs in the North Atlantic Ocean.

From the Cyprus base, Tiger has established a strong presence in the Mediterranean offshore market and maintains a presence in Morocco, Malta, Cyprus and Egypt. The East Med Team has experienced some great accomplishments during the year including a large order for work in the Zohr gas field, the largest discovery in the Mediterranean. The Mediterranean team is also supporting a large drilling campaign in the Eastern Mediterranean with delivery, slinging, rigging and compliance of a large amount of logistic equipment for a regional job in November this year.

Started expansion into Middle East.

Tiger entered the Namibia marketing back in 2013 with our first rentals in the region. As of late, Namibia is quickly solidifying its place as one of the world’s hottest oil provinces.

In partnership with Dragon Products, our sister manufacturing company, Tiger Industrial Rentals rolled out the environmentally friendly, durable and safe alternative to the old fashion wood rig mats, the ECOmat. Tiger Industrial Rentals is passionate about providing cutting edge matting solutions, and our new synthetic/composite ECOmat is no different. Specifically designed for multiple applications, there are numerous benefits to the ECOmat, beyond the typical composite mat that is widely used in the oil and gas industry today.

On November 9, 2011, Tiger entered the East Mediterranean oil and gas market with a facility located on the island of Cyprus to service clients along the Mediterranean such as Cyprus, Egypt, Turkey and Israel.

In 2008, Tiger entered the Brazil market through a formalized JV under the name Tiger Rentank do Brasil, a joint venture between the American company “Tiger Offshore” and the Brazilian company “Grupo Rentank”. Together, the two companies have over 50 years of experience operating worldwide. Tiger Rentank’s client portfolio includes the main players in the offshore market. In 2011, Tiger Safety entered the well testing and production and hard iron equipment industry.

In 1999, Tiger Tanks added cargo carrying units (CCU) such as baskets and dry containers to our offshore fleet of tanks for the Gulf of Mexico drilling and completions operations.

Tiger Tanks added US DOT-certified round tanks to their fleet to service oil and gas organizations working in the Gulf of Mexico.

On January 23, 1998, The Modern Group, a family-owned conglomerate of companies, started Tiger Offshore Rentals, formally known as Tiger Tanks, focusing on providing cuttings boxes to clients in the Gulf of Mexico region.

In 1995, the Modern Group, LLC launched Crenshaw Enterprises and on July 1,1998 officially changed names to Tiger Industrial, LLC dba Tiger Industrial Rentals. The organization was developed to provides industrial high pressure cleaning equipment to clients in the and Beaumont, Texas and surrounding areas. Today, Tiger Industrial’s vast selection of rental equipment is distributed throughout the US with a large concentration in the Eagleford, Barnett, Permian and along the Gulf Coast basins and shale plays. Tiger Industrial also has equipment in various international locations in partnership with our sister company, Tiger Offshore Rentals.
