Expanding Capabilities: New Incinerator Enhances Waste Treatment Services in Trinidad
Established in 2010, Tiger Trinidad’s Waste Treatment Facility has been a critical hub for the processing of waste
generated from offshore drilling operations. Central to the facility’s operations is a state-of-the-art Direct Fired
Thermal Desorption Unit (TDU), which currently supports waste treatment and disposal services for several major
industry operators.
In response to the growing demand for incineration services, previously outsourced to third-party providers,
Tiger Trinidad identified a strategic opportunity to expand its in-house capabilities and capture a larger share of the market.
To this end, Tiger Trinidad has recently acquired a 100kg/hr incinerator, marking a significant step forward in enhancing the facility’s capacity to manage a broader range of hazardous and non-hazardous waste streams.
This investment not only supports improved service delivery and turnaround times for clients, but also reinforces Tiger’s commitment to operational efficiency, environmental compliance, and long-term sustainability
in waste management.
